Bracelets are offered in two sizes, small and large. Small bracelets expand to a maximum of 8 3/4 inches, large bracelets expand to a maximum of 10 1/2 inches. The bracelets are made to slide over your hand, so measure the widest part of your hand to determine which size is best for you.  

If you are purchasing a set as a gift, small is generally sized for females and large for males.

Generally, smoke or soot on the container are caused from a wick that is too long and therefore burning too hot. This can be from a wick that was not properly trimmed before lighting, or, a candle that has been burning too long. Always trim your wick to 1/8" before lighting. For best performance, burn your candle for two to four hours, extinguish the flame and let the candle cool. Once cool, trim the wick back to 1/8" (if needed) and light again.

To keep our candles as natural and clean burning as possible, vegetable waxes of coconut and soy were used and no color was added to the wax. Soy wax is delicate and you may notice the wax is a little darker after it cools. This is normal and does not impact the performance of your candle.

For optimal candle performance trim the wick to 1/8” before lighting every time. Keep candle free of debris including wick trimmings, matches etc. Burn on a level, fire & heat resistant surface. Burn for a minimum of 2 hours and not more than 4 hours. Discard candle when 1/2" of wax remains.

Trimming the wick when the wax gets lower can be tricky. Generally, a pair of sharp scissors will work. Our favorite way to keep wicks neatly trimmed is to use a pair of end cutting pliers.

All of our gemstone bracelets are placed on a selenite charging block for 24 hours to be cleansed and charged prior to packaging. Selenite crystals have the ability to remove blocks and negative energy from other crystals and gemstones, cleansing and magnifying the energy of anything that is placed upon it. No selenite on hand? No problem! Placing your bracelet in the bright sunshine for a few hours or under a full moon will also clear negative energy from the stones. Do not place your bracelet in the bright sunshine for more than a couple of hours, it can degrade the color of bright vibrant stones like amethyst. There are lots of ways to cleanse stones. A little online research will surely reveal a method that works for you.

The more often you wear your bracelet, the more negative or undesireable energy it may collect.  A good rule of thumb is to  clear your crystals once a month.  There are no rules on this, clear your crystals when the time feels right to you.

We work to keep our products and packaging as sustainable as possible. All of our wax and fragrance is plant based. All of our product packaging (boxes & tubes) are recyclable. For shipping small items, we use padded envelopes that are compostable. For larger items, we use shredded (untreated) aspen wood for cushioning during shipping. Toss this in your compost bin too. 

All of our glass candle containers are recyclable. Place them in your recycle bin or reuse them at home. Remove residual wax by warming the container in hot water the wax will soften for easy removal. The large candle containers make a nice vase, the small candle containers are great for containing small items like paper clips. In either case, you can also drop in a tea light and keep the candle vibes going!

Our candles are vegan (no beeswax here), however, our bracelets use natural silk cord. Bracelets can be strung on off-white natural cotton cording if requested as a special order. For a cotton version of our bracelets email your request to info@myintention.co.
